How to make
Whip the egg yolks with the sugar very thoroughly. Dilute slowly with the milk and continue whipping on the stove until the mixture thickens. Flavor with the vanilla, transfer to a suitable form and boil the cream in a water bath.
Prepare a sugar syrup from 2/5 cup (100 ml) water and 2/5 cup (100 g) sugar. Let it cool.
Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt and pour in the sugar syrup in a thin trickle while stirring - you need to get firm and shiny tips.
Decorate the cream with the egg yolk mixture and fruits from a jam if desired.
