Ingredients

  • brie cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • eggs - 1 XL
  • breadcrumbs - for rolling
  • blueberry jam - 3 tbsp. heaped

How to make

Cut the Brie cheese into cubes, making sure to have a crust on both sides. If you don't like the crust with noble mold, just scrape off the white bits with a sharp knife.

Place the pieces in a clean, dry bag. Add 1 tablespoon of flour and shake well to coat the cheese in a thin crust. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Then prepare a bowl of breadcrumbs and a bowl of beaten egg.

Heat a frying pan with oil over high heat.

Take out the pieces of Brie and dip them in the egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. You can also double-coat them to make sure the soft cheese doesn't melt when frying.

Immediately after rolling in breadcrumbs, place the breaded cheeses in the hot oil and fry until golden.

Remove the breaded bites and place them onto kitchen paper to absorb the fat.

Transfer the breaded cheese bites onto a platter and serve them with a bowl of blueberry jam.
