"No matter what side of the Danube you`re on, the pork stew is always as tasty as ever."

Ingredients

  • pork - 28 oz (800 g)
  • potatoes - 10 - 12
  • onions - 8 heads
  • tomatoes - 6 - 8, peeled
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 5 grains
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)

How to make

Cut the pork meat into pieces, salt, sprinkle with black pepper, then add the allspice.

Peel the potatoes whole and place them with onion heads on top of the meat.

At the very top, arrange the peeled tomatoes. Pour the oil and 4/5 cup (200 ml) water in the dish. Cover with a lid and let it boil on low heat for about 3 hours.
