How to make

The yeast is activated in a bowl with the warmed fresh milk and half a spoonful of sugar.

The flour is sifted and mixed with the salt. A well is made in its middle and the foamed yeast, one egg and the yolk of the second are poured into it.

Knead a soft dough, adding the softened butter several times.

The dough is formed into a ball and left to rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.

The risen dough is divided into 12 balls, which are shaped into oblong loaves.

Arrange them in a tray covered with paper and leave to rise again. Then they are smeared with the beaten egg white and put to bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 °C) for about half an hour.

To make the hot dog buns soft, a metal bowl of water is placed in the oven.

The sausages are briefly placed in boiling water. They are drained from the water and while still warm, they are placed in the halved bread buns.

Top them with ketchup and mustard, then the mini hot dogs are ready to serve.
