How to make
Wash and slice the figs (remove the ends).
Put baking paper in a tray and arrange the figs on the bottom. Sprinkle them evenly with 2 spoons of sugar.
Beat the sugar with the softened butter to a nice fluffy cream. Add the eggs - one at a time. When they are absorbed very well, add the vanilla and cottage cheese. Start adding the flour with the baking powder - spoonful at a time.
Spread the thick cake batter over the figs.
Heat the oven to 360°F (180°C). Bake the fruit cake for about 45 minutes.
Remove, flip and sprinkle with a little powdered sugar.
The light fig cake with cottage cheese is ready.
