Ingredients

  • chicken thigh steaks - 6
  • maggi uni souce - 3 tbsp. or soy sauce
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  • black pepper - to taste
  • onions - 2 onions
  • mushrooms - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • tomatoes - 3
  • liquid cream - 10 fl oz (300 ml)
  • fresh spinach - 7 oz (200 g)
  • grated yellow cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • flour - for rolling
  • salt to taste

How to make

Wash and dry the steaks. In a bowl, mix the uni sauce, black pepper, oil and lemon juice, mix and marinate the steaks in it for 2-3 hours.

Remove the steaks from the marinade, roll them in flour and set aside.

Heat a little oil on a high heat and fry the steaks one by one on both sides until golden brown, set them aside to drain the excess oil.

Finely chop the cleaned onions. Chop the washed mushrooms, place them in a larger pan with a little oil and fry together with the onion until the water evaporates.

During this time, peel and dice the tomatoes, add them to the fried vegetables, cook until the water evaporates from the tomatoes.

Pour the cream and add the leaves of the cleaned and washed spinach and half of the grated cheese. Once the spinach leaves have thickened and softened, remove the pan from the heat and pour the mixture into a casserole dish.

Arrange the chicken steaks on top and place the pan in a preheated 390°F (200°C) oven, bake until the meat is done.

Remove the tray and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese, bake for another 5 minutes in the oven.
