  • water - 8.5 fl oz (250 ml)

  • cheddar - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • processed cheese - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Season the chicken steaks with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. A small piece of butter is placed on top of each steak and placed to bake in the oven at 390°F (200°C).

After the steaks are baked on one side, turn them over to bake on the other side as well. Shortly before readiness, a slice of Mozzarella cheese is placed on top of each steak.

While the meat is baking, prepare the mushroom sauce. Heat two tablespoons each of butter and oil in a pan. In the fat, fry the cleaned mushrooms, cut into slices, and if they are small - whole.

After they are fried, take them out of the pan and fry the flour in the same fat. It is stirred vigorously so as not to burn and diluted several times with warm milk and warm water.

As soon as the sauce begins to thicken, return the mushrooms to it. Add the finely chopped cheeses and season with salt and pepper.

Finally, a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice is added. The finished chicken steaks are served in combination with the mushroom sauce.
