  • cheddar - 4.2 oz (120 g)
  • butter - about 2 tbsp. soft
  • oil - for spreading
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - to taste
  • fresh basil - 2 sprigs

How to make

Wash the potatoes well and without peeling them, grease them with oil. Wrap them in aluminum foil and bake the potatoes at 370°F (190°C) for about an hour or until soft.

When you unwrap them, their skin should be separated.

The broccoli, broken into florets, can also be greased and salted and wrapped in foil. That way they will bake with the potatoes, but in half of their time (they are wrapped in separate foil and removed when ready). The other option is to boil them, but somehow they are tastier baked.

Unwrap the vegetables and let them cool slightly.

During this time, turn on the oven grill.

Cut the potato lid, carve out the inside of the potato.

Put the broccoli in a blender jug. Add most of the cheddar cheese (no matter if from the light or orange cheddar), basil, the inside of the potatoes, a little salt and black pepper to taste.

Turn the blender on to blend the products (not too fine).

Grease each potato inside with butter (abundantly). Put the filling by forming a dome. Put a piece of cheddar on top and put the stuffed potatoes in the oven.

Bake with the grill function on until the cheese has melted and they have acquired a golden brown color.

Serve the stuffed potatoes with broccoli and cheddar with fresh salad and favorite sauce.
