Ingredients

  • chicken meat - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • broccoli - 9 oz (250 g) frozen
  • rice - 1 cup
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • salt
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp. ground
  • parmesan - 4 tbsp. grated
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g) grated

How to make

Rich chicken dish - delicious and very filling.

The chicken meat is boiled in salted water. The broth is strained, the meat is cut or torn into pieces.

Fry the finely chopped onion and garlic cloves in a deep pan. Once they are soft, add the defrosted broccoli, divided into florets and the washed rice for the recipe.

The vegetables are stirred several times, a grated tomato is added and a cup of the broth is poured. when the rice has absorbed the liquid everything is transferred into a tray.

Add the cooked meat to the casserole, salt to taste, ground black pepper and another two cups of the broth, in which two tablespoons of Parmesan have been mixed.

The chicken casserole is placed in the oven and baked for 50 minutes at 370°F (190°C). Shortly before readiness, sprinkle with the remaining parmesan and grated cheese.

The Casserole with Chicken, Broccoli and Rice is placed back into the oven and baked until desired browning.
