"A dessert whose taste you will long remember!"

Ingredients

  • cottage cheese - 17.5 oz (500 g) desalinated
  • eggs - 3
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • liquid cream - 1 cup (250 ml) sweetened
  • sugar - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • almonds - 1/5 cup (70 g), chopped, raw
  • dried fruits - 2/3 cup (150 g) chopped dates, raisins, dried cherries, figs, apricots

How to make

Mix the cream, cottage cheese and sugar very well and add the eggs while stirring constantly. Add the softened butter and put everything on the stove. Stir constantly until it comes to a boil, take off the heat and stir until cool.

Add and mix with the chopped almonds and chopped dried fruits. In a suitable tray or oven dish, put a thin cotton cloth or cheesecloth. Distribute the mixture on top, wrap it nicely and tie it.

Put a heavy object on top and let the liquid drain for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator. Then carefully remove the fabric, put on a plate and make decorations as desired.
