Ingredients

  • eggplants - 1 large
  • cream cheese - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • yellow cheese - 5.3 oz (150 g) grated
  • thyme
  • black pepper
  • oil - 2 - 3 tbsp. for spreading

How to make

The eggplant is washed and cut into thin slices. Pour it with cold water and leave it for 20 minutes for its bitter juice to come out.

In a baking pan, smeared with oil and arrange the eggplant, sprinkle with black pepper, thyme and 2 tbsp. oil.

Bake the eggplant in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for 15 minutes and remove it from the oven.

Spread with soft cream cheese and sprinkle with yellow cheese.

Place it back into the oven and bake only with the upper heating resistor on until it melts.
