How to make
Melt the butter in a large pan. Seal well turkey breast on both sides.
Season with salt and black pepper and transfer into a slow cooker.
Stew the minced garlic and onion in the same fat. Sprinkle them with flour and mix.
Pour the broth and stir until the liquid boils. Pour it in the slow cooker over the turkey breast.
Add the orange peel and the juice in which you dissolved the honey.
Season with more black pepper and salt. You can also add some olives if you like.
Put the lid on and cook for about 7 hours in the appliance.
Boil the potatoes and mash them. Mix them with the salt, egg, black pepper, nutmeg, potato starch and butter.
Form 8 dumplings from the potato mixture. Steam them for 20 minutes. If you don't have such a device, you can boil them in a pot of water. Boil the water and remove them from the heat.
Add the dumplings and place them back onto the heat, which has been reduced to the lowest setting.
Boil until ready - when they float to the surface you can remove them.
Serve the stewed turkey with the dumplings and other vegetables of your choice.
