How to make
Dissolve the yeast in the slightly warmed water, add a spoonful of sugar and a few spoons of flour. It is mixed, until a thick mixture is obtained.
Leave it for 10-15 minutes for the yeast to activate.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the activated mixture and knead a smooth dough. It is left in a warm place to rise /double its volume/.
The risen dough is divided into eight parts, which are rolled out into flatbread with a thickness of 0.2″ (0.5 cm).
Arrange them in a tray covered with baking paper.
They are left to rise again for 20-30 minutes.
The Arabic flatbread are baked in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, until they puff up and acquire a golden brown color.
The Easy Arabic Flatbread are ready.
