"Add a few chilies to the classic beef stew for a heavenly taste and fragrance!"

Ingredients

  • beef shanks - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg), cut into large pieces
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 3 - 4, cut into coarse rings
  • peppers - 1 green, cut into thin, long strips
  • green beans - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • celery
  • parsley
  • black pepper - 10 grains
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Cut the meat into pieces and boil them in a pressure cooker with 8 1/3 cups (2 liters) of water. Remove the foam with a slotted spoon.

Add all the other products to the purified broth - the coarsely chopped potatoes, beans, carrots, onions, peppers, celery and parsley. Add salt and black pepper.

Close the pot and boil on high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and boil the beef for another 40 minutes.

When serving, you can garnish it with a pat of butter and chopped parsley.
