Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • salt
  • black pepper - ground, to taste
  • thyme - 1 tablespoon, dried
  • oregano - 1 tablespoon, dried
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

How to make

Peel, wash and chop the potatoes. Heat the oil in a wide pan and fry the potatoes briefly twice, to give them a slight tan.

Transfer them to a tray and mix them with the salt, black pepper, thyme and oregano. Add a cup of hot water into the tray and let them bake until ready in a heated 370°F (190 °C) oven.
