Ingredients

  • rice - 1.1 lb (500 g) for sushi
  • sushi vinegar - 3 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 - 2 tsp. or to taste
  • sugar - 2 tsp. or to taste
  • crab sticks - 1 package (200 g)
  • red peppers - 1
  • salmon - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cucumbers - 1/2
  • nori sheets - 1 package

How to make

Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package - put it to boil in the specified amount of water, washing it well in several waters beforehand. After it absorbs the water, take it off and leave it covered for 15-20 minutes. Then mix with the vinegar, sugar and salt.

Allow the rice to cool completely and in the meantime cut the vegetables - the pepper into thin strips along with the cucumber. You can also cut the salmon into strips.

On a sushi mat, place one Nori sheet, moisten your fingers and spread the rice on top in an even layer. At the base of the sheet, arrange some salmon, cucumber and pepper and add the crab sticks on top lengthwise. Wrap the sushi tightly and do the same with the rest of the sheets with the rice.

Cut the sushi into slices and serve with soy sauce and wasabi if desired.
