Ingredients

  • milk - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • sugar - 2.8 oz (80 g)
  • corn starch - 1.1 oz (30 g)
  • vanilla essence - 1 1/2 tsp.
  • egg yolks - 3 pcs.
  • eggs - 1
  • butter - 1.4 oz (40 g) soft

How to make

For the mousseline cream pour milk into a deep vessel and let it boil along with the vanilla.

In another bowl, beat the egg along with the yolks, sugar, salt and starch.

Beat all this until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

After boiling the milk, pour half of it into the egg mixture in a thin stream, stirring continuously.

Return the finished mixture to the other half of milk and place it on the stove.

Continue to stir continuously until the classic vanilla cream thickens.

When you remove the cream from the heat, add the butter.

Stir well until it dissolves, and pour mousseline cream into bowls.
