How to make

If you have a few pieces of boiled or Roasted Pumpkin, be sure to prepare these candies.

They are ready in literally minutes and apart from being very tasty, they are also dietary candies.

Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes to soften.

Then strain and remove the pits if there are any.

Grind the walnuts and set aside 4 tablespoons of them. The remaining walnuts will be needed to roll the candies in.

Put the dates, pumpkin and honey in a blender. I used sugar free roasted pumpkin.

Blend well.

To the blended pumpkin and dates add 4 spoons of the walnuts, oat bran, chia seeds, carob flour as well as ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. These flavors pair wonderfully with pumpkin.

Stir well.

The mixture may seem too soft at first, but keep in mind that the oat bran and chia will swell a bit after a while.

Form small candies from the resulting mixture, which you roll in grinded walnuts or in mixed carob, flaxseed and 1 spoon of oat bran.

Put the raw candies in the fridge for a few hours to set.

From these products, I made 25 dietary and very tasty raw pumpkin and date candies, which are perfect for eating anytime, without feeling guilty.
