How to make
Beat the 10 egg whites.
The sugar and walnuts and healthy carob flour are gradually added to them, as well as the vanilla.
Line a cake tin with foil (I sometimes use pizza pans too - super thin and delicious walnut layers are made), grease and pour with some of the mixture.
These products should be enough to bake 3-4 prepared cake layers, depending on the thickness.
Bake the walnut cake layers at 300°F (150°C) in a preheated oven until lightly browned, which is 15-25 minutes depending on the oven.
Remember that after the cake layers cool, they harden, so they should not be too hard while they are still in the oven. Check them with a toothpick.
Bonus: If you're wondering what to do with the 10 egg yolks - custard or crème brûlée are good options - even if they are not for your cake.
These cake layers are perfect for making a Garash cake.
