How to make
We wash the cherries well and clean them from the pits. We put them in a suitable container and sprinkle them with sugar.
We let them stay like this for 1 night. In the morning, we put them in the oven, which we have set to the maximum temperature and leave it inside for about 3-4 hours, stirring often.
The jam is ready when, when we drop a drop of the jam on a cold plate from the refrigerator and it turns into jelly.
After removing from the oven, add 3-4 tbsp. vinegar (you can add 2-3 tsp. citric acid instead of vinegar) and mix well.
Then pour the jam into pre-washed and dried jars and sterilize them for about 5 minutes.
Then we turn them with the lids down.
The oven-baked cherry jam is ready.
