How to make
In a bowl, make a marinade from half the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, dried thyme and rosemary. The ingredients are mixed well until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
The turkey legs are washed, dried, sprinkled with salt and smeared with the prepared marinade. They are put for about 3-4 hours in the refrigerator to absorb the aromas.
The potatoes are peeled and cut into large pieces. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper and drizzle with the remaining olive oil. They are mixed and put into the clay guvec.
The turkey legs are placed on top of them. Pour about 2/5 cup (100 ml) of water and the guvec is placed in the cold oven.
The legs are baked at 430°F (220°C) for the first half hour, then the temperature is reduced to 360°F (180°C).
The turkey with potatoes in a guvec is very tasty!
