Ingredients

  • turkey breasts - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • spinach - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • red onions - 2
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • honey - 1 tsp.
  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tsp.
  • smoked processed cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • oil - 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • pepper mix - 1 pinch
  • spelt flour - 3.5 oz (100 g)

How to make

The turkey breasts are wash very well. Remove the skins.

Cut them into medium slices and put them in a shallow baking pan.

They are sprinkled with pepper mix and salt and then they are mixed very well to flavor them on all sides.

Each fillet is rolled in spelt flour.

The oil is heated in a pan, then each fillet is fried until golden on both sides.

The garlic is cleaned and cut very finely.

Spinach is cleaned from the roots and stalks. Wash and roughly chop, then strain in a colander.

The onion is cleaned, washed and sliced, then fried until golden in the oil in which the fillets were fried.

After the onion is fried, honey, vinegar, salt and garlic are added.

Mix very well, then add the chopped and strained spinach.

Fry the spinach for 5 minutes and remove it from the heat.

Arrange a row of fried fillets in a glass pot.

Place the spinach filling on top, then the remaining fillets.

On top of the turkey with spinach, add sliced smoked processed cheese.

Bake the honey turkey breasts with spinach for 20 minutes at 320°F (160°C).
