"Oven-baked macaroni with milk and eggs - a childhood classic for young and old"

Ingredients

  • macaroni - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 9 oz (250 g)
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • milk - 4 cups (1 L)
  • eggs - 6
  • vanilla essence - 2 tsp.

How to make

Boil a pot of water. Add the salt. Once the water is boiling, pour in the pasta and cook according to the instructions on the package.

Strain the cooked macaroni and pour them into a baking pan. Immediately add the butter and sugar. Stir until melted.

Beat the eggs with the milk and vanilla. Pour the mixture over the macaroni and mix.

Bake the pasta in the oven at 390°F (200°C) for about an hour.
