"A superb fish pâté which you can enjoy on a slice of bread or as an appetizer."

Ingredients

  • caviar - 7 oz (200 g)
  • oil - 1 cup
  • onions - 1 head
  • bread - 1 slice, dry
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • lemons - 2 tablespoons, juice
  • parsley - 2 - 3 sprigs, chopped
  • mustard - 1 tsp, by choice

How to make

Soak the bread and drain it well. Put the chopped onion in a jar, add salt, lemon juice and the caviar and blend. Then start adding oil in a thin trickle while blending nonstop.

Use less oil if desired. Flavor the beaten fish pâté with chopped parsley and mustard and blend again briefly.
