How to make
Dissolve the yeast with some of the slightly warmed milk, then add the sugar. Leave it to rise for a while and add the remaining milk and salt. Mix well and add the eggs and flour gradually. Knead until you get a smooth and soft dough, form it into an oval shape.
Fill a large bowl, pot or other container with cold water and carefully place the dough in it. Initially, it will sink, but once it rises, it will emerge on top. Transfer the risen dough to a greased tray and shape it. Poke the top all over with a skewer if desired, brush with an egg yolk beaten with a little water or milk and sprinkle it with seeds of your choice.
Put the bathed pita to bake in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven. Sprinkle the baked pita with water and smother it in a towel. Since it is made without any oil, it is best to eat it quickly, because otherwise it dries and becomes crumbly.
