"A simple but very tasty pita that you`ll make more than once!"

Ingredients

  • flour - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • salt - 1 tablespoon
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • eggs - 1
  • yeast - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)

How to make

Sift the flour and make a well in it, where you then add the other products. Pour in cold water, knead a dough and let it stand until doubled in volume.

Knead it again and let it relax. Shape a pita and smear it with 1 egg yolk. Allow it to rise for another 5 minutes, then bake it in a moderate oven.
