How to make
First, we prepare the syrup. Put the water and sugar in a saucepan, once it boils, boil for about 5 minutes.
Add half a lemon, cut into rings and boil for another 4-5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and let the syrup cool. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
Add the yogurt in which the soda is added. Add the oil, by stirring without stopping.
Gradually add semolina and flour, which we have previously sifted with baking powder and grated lemon peel.
Pour the finished mixture into a floured and greased baking pan and bake in a preheated oven until golden.
Take out the classic revani from the oven and pour syrup over it while it's still hot.
Garnish it with whatever you have on hand.
Leave the classic Turkish revani for a few hours to absorb the syrup nicely.
