How to make
Beat the soft butter with the two types of sugar until smooth.
Add the egg, vanilla and peanut butter and mix until smooth.
Pour the flour with the baking powder and salt and knead the buttery dough (short kneading). Mixer beaters, which are specially made for dough, can be used.
Finally, add the crushed chocolate and stir to spread it out evenly.
The dough is torn and balls are formed - the size of a walnut.
Flatten slightly and the peanut butter cookies are spaced apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Two trays come out of this dose.
Patterns are made on each American cookie with a fork or dough cutter.
Bake each tray in an oven heated to 360°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes.
While still slightly warm, the chocolate chip cookies are removed and stored in a box until it's time to serve them, in order to keep them soft.
