Ingredients

  • flour - 1.1 lb (500 g) + for additional kneading
  • water - 9.5 fl oz (280 ml)
  • fresh yeast - 0.7 oz (20 g)
  • sugar - 0.35 oz (10 g)
  • salt - 1 tbsp.
  • oil - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml) + for greasing the bag

How to make

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the slightly warmed water. Cover and leave it in a warm place to activate - about 8-10 minutes.

Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well into which you pour the oil, salt and yeast.

Knead a smooth, elastic dough, adding as much flour as needed and being careful not to make it hard. It should be soft and non-sticky.

Generously grease the inside of a baking bag. Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll out each into a smooth strip. Wrap the two strips into each other and twist them slightly.

Put the bread in the baking bag and tighten the opening, leaving space for the dough to rise. Place it in a warm place to double in size, about 1 hour.

Place in a non heated oven and turn it on to 390°F (200°C). Bake the bread for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

After removing it from the oven, immediately remove it from the bag so that it does not get moist. Be careful not to burn yourself from the hot air that will come out of the bag. Leave bread cool on a wire rack and serve it to your table.
