How to make

On Sundays, we often like to relax and minimize our household chores in order to have more time for ourselves.

If you want to have great bread for the Sunday table without taking up too much of your time, take advantage of this recipe.

Sift the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the middle into which you pour the slightly warmed water. In it, crush the yeast and dissolve the spoonful of sugar. Cover the bowl with a towel and wait 8-10 minutes for it to activate.

During this time, heat the oil on a moderate heat, this will contribute to the faster rising of the bread and to its better texture.

When the yeast activates, start adding the flour to it, until it absorbs it all. Then pour the warm, but not hot, oil in a thin stream in two parts, pour the salt and knead until smooth and elastic.

Usually 3-4 minutes is enough. If necessary, sprinkle more flour if needed to prevent it from sticking to your fingers.

Leave the kneaded dough shaped in a greased baking pan to double in volume in an oven heated to 110°F (45°C) for about 30 minutes, then increase the heat to 390°F (200°C) without removing the bread and without opening the door. This is a technology for making bread faster and is quite practical.

After about 25 to 30 minutes you should have a baked bread with a crispy crust and a pleasant color.

Leave the Sunday Bread to cool on a wire rack and serve it to your table.

Enjoy your meal!
