How to make
Grate the pumpkin while it is raw. Add sugar, oil and cinnamon to it and mix.
Grease the bottom of a baking pan and place two filo pastry sheets on top of each other. Distribute the filling evenly everywhere and cover with a filo pastry sheet, then the filling and so on until you run out of all products. Finally, finish off again with two filo pastry sheets.
Cut the tikvenik into pieces and put it in an oven heated to 360°F (180°C). Bake until the sweet pie is heavily browned - about 35 minutes.
Leave it to cool completely and then mix the powdered sugar with 20 ml water. You will get a sugary mixture and sprinkle it generously on the surface of the tikvenik and let the glaze dry for a few hours. If you can't wait, you can consume it immediately.
