How to make
Bring the sugar and water to a boil. Stir and leave it to boil for about ten minutes or until the sugar has melted.
Add the strawberries. Mix carefully. Sprinkle with the citric acid and leave it to boil and when it boils and begins to foam, reduce to medium heat and skim off the foam.
When the strawberry jam is cooked, remove the pot from the heat and immediately cover it with a damp cloth. When cool, add the almond leaves and mix gently.
Then pour into washed jars, close and turn them upside down.
Store the Strawberry Jam with Almond Leaves in a cool, dark place.
