Ingredients

  • strawberries - 4.4 lb (2 kg)
  • sugar - 4.4 lb (2 kg)
  • water - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • citric acid - 0.7 oz (20 g)
  • almond leaves - 3.5 oz (100 g)

How to make

Bring the sugar and water to a boil. Stir and leave it to boil for about ten minutes or until the sugar has melted.

Add the strawberries. Mix carefully. Sprinkle with the citric acid and leave it to boil and when it boils and begins to foam, reduce to medium heat and skim off the foam.
