"Rice with vegetables, pork and mushrooms - a classic that never gets old."

Ingredients

  • pork belly - 1.3 lb (600 g) or another
  • mushrooms - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • rice - 7 oz (200 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • parsley - 3 - 4 sprigs
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • oil - 4 tbsp (60 ml)
  • butter - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • salt - to taste
  • water - 3 1/3 cups (800 ml)

How to make

Heat the oil and fry the chopped pork meat in it for about 5 minutes.

Cut the mushrooms and add them to the meat.

Add the butter, mix well and stew for another 15 minutes.

Then add the rice and finely chopped onion, carrot, pepper, tomato and parsley.

Sprinkle with paprika, black pepper and salt to taste.

Stew the vegetables with rice, pork and mushrooms like this for another 10 minutes.

Transfer the rice and pork mixture into a baking pan and pour warm water.

Put the dish in a heated oven and bake the rice at 390°F (200°C) for about 30 minutes.
