How to make
Seal the chicken fillet in a pan in a little butter, until it acquires a golden color.
Finely chop half an onion and stew it in a deep pan or pot, where you have heated the oil and butter.
After it softens, add chopped garlic, very briefly, because it burns quickly.
Then add the flour, stirring continuously for 3 minutes, to brown.
Next up is the water or broth and also boil the fillet to the desired thickness.
Add a bay leaf, a pinch of turmeric, thyme, salt and black pepper to the delicious fricassee.
Season the finished dish with lemon juice.
The thyme gives off a subtle aroma that goes very well with the other products and the turmeric adds a fresh color to the fricassee.
