How to make
These Turkish pogaca breads with white cheese are quick to prepare and are suitable for a delicious breakfast for the whole family.
Mix the yogurt with the soda, salt and sugar. Stir and wait for it to activate.
Add all other ingredients (except the flour) to the milk in a mixing bowl.
Separate one yolk, which is for spreading the pogaca on top. Stir.
Add the flour sifted with baking powder. You may need to add a little more flour depending on the size of the eggs and the thickness of the yogurt.
Knead a soft dough, by adding the flour gradually and in a controlled manner.
Prepare the stuffing by crumbling the white cheese and mixing it with finely chopped fresh parsley.
Cut pieces of the dough, which are the size of tangerines and spread them out on a lightly floured surface.
Put a spoonful of the stuffing in the middle and pinch the edges of the dough.
Arrange the small bread buns, with the open side up, in the large black oven tray lined with baking paper.
Spread them with the yolk on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Put the Turkish bread buns to bake in an oven heated to 360°F (180°C) for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
These bread buns with white cheese are very tasty. You will love them if you like to eat baked goods.
