How to make

A quick, easy and healthy dish, which you can prepare as a light dinner or a vegetarian lunch - stewed broccoli with white cheese.

Heat water over high heat with a spoonful of olive oil or vegetable oil and a pinch of salt.

Tear the broccoli into pieces, wash and blanch them in boiling water.

Pour the milk to soften the taste of the vegetables.

The broccoli should be slightly softened, not boiled.

Take them out with a slotted spoon and put them in a pan with melted butter, a little olive oil, salt and two chopped garlic cloves. Stew under a lid for 10 minutes, by adding a little of the broth from the boiling.

It is best if the vegetables remain slightly crunchy and not to fall apart. They will absorb the butter and aroma of the garlic.

Distribute them into portions and add cherry tomatoes to the broccoli.

Sprinkle with black pepper, if desired, a little lemon juice and crumble the white cheese on top.

It would be nice if they are lightly baked in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degrees), but even if not, they still turn out great.

Serve the stewed broccoli with the half-melted white cheese on top while they're still warm.

Enjoy your meal!
