  • spaghetti - 12.5 oz (350 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.
  • tomatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • tomato puree - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • thyme - to taste
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste
  • For the meatballs
  • minced meat - 0.9 lb (400 g), beef
  • bread - 2 slices, dry
  • parsley - 1 tbsp.
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - for frying
  • parmesan - 3.5 oz (100 g), for sprinkling

How to make

For the meatballs: Soak the bread in the water and squeeze it well. Add minced meat, onion, egg, spices and mix.

The meatballs are shaped and fried in very hot oil. The onion and garlic are fried.

Add the scalded, peeled and diced tomatoes, the tomato puree mixed with 1 tbsp. of water, sugar and thyme.

Add some water, salt and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer and add the meatballs.

Cook the spaghetti according to instructions on the package, strain and distribute them into plates.

When serving, pour the meatballs with the tomato sauce and sprinkle with parmesan.

The delicious spaghetti with meatballs are ready.
