Ingredients

  • lasagna sheets - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • For the Bolognese Sauce
  • minced meat - 1.1 lb (500 g) beef
  • tomatoes - 10.5 oz (300 g) ground
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp.
  • basil - 1 tbsp. dried
  • red wine - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • oregano - 1 tsp. dried
  • For the Béchamel Sauce
  • flour - 3 tbsp.
  • butter - 1 tbsp.
  • milk - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • mozzarella - 5.3 oz (150 g) grated
  • cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • nutmeg - 1 pinch
  • salt - to taste

How to make

For the Bolognese sauce finely chop the onion, carrot and garlic and stew them in a deep pan.

Add the minced meat to them and mix until it becomes crumbly.

Pour the wine and after a few minutes, the tomatoes, basil, oregano and black pepper.

For the Béchamel sauce, fry the flour first.

Pour the milk in a thin stream while stirring continuously.

Leave the sauce to thicken and then season with salt and nutmeg.

Steam the prepared lasagna sheets.

Place Béchamel sauce on the bottom of rectangular baking pan, add with a row of sheets, Béchamel sauce again, then Bolognese sauce, mozzarella and cheese. Continue layering the homemade lasagna in the same way until the ingredients are used up.

Put it in the oven for about 30 minutes at 390°F (200°C).
