How to make
A superb salad inspired by German cuisine.
The potatoes are boiled in salted water. When ready, cut them into medium-sized pieces and set them aside.
The bacon for the salad is cut into small pieces and fried in just a little olive oil. When it acquires an appetizing color, take it out and place it onto kitchen paper to remove excess fat.
In its place, the finely chopped onion is placed in the pan. After it softens, add a tablespoon of vinegar, a tablespoon of mustard and a little sugar.
Cook for about two to three minutes, then add the potatoes and bacon into the pan. The potato salad is seasoned with salt, ground black pepper and chopped fresh parsley.
It is mixed briefly, if desired it can be sprinkled with finely chopped spring onions and it is ready to be served. It is consumed warm.
