  • milk - 3 tbsp.
  • ouzo - 2 - 3 tbsp.

measures

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar and salt into a fluffy cream. Gradually add olive oil, the alcohol, finely grated orange peel (only the orange part) and flour sifted with baking powder.

Mix with a spoon until you get a soft dough. If it is too thin, add very little flour.

With greased hands, take a golf ball-sized amount of the dough and poke a hole in the middle with your thumb to make a small donut.

Place in the oil heated over moderate heat and fry them, until golden on both sides.

Drain the finished donuts onto kitchen paper and as soon as they cool, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Serve them with jam of your choice or honey.

Very flavorful donuts for a tasty start to the day!

Enjoy your meal!
