How to make
The recipe is from the old cookbooks, for which I thank Maria - my friend, who provided it to me.
Peanuts are an addition by me for extra flavor.
Mix the oil, honey, sugar, beaten eggs, grinded peanuts and cinnamon in a bowl.
Add kefir or yogurt with the soda dissolved in it.
Sift the flour into the liquid mixture, by mixing until it has thickened and a medium soft dough is obtained. Knead briefly on a floured surface until smooth.
It is rolled out into a crust with a diameter of about 4-5 mm and figures are cut out.
The honey biscuits are decorated with whole peanuts - raw and baked in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes or until they acquire an appetizing color.
