How to make
Peel, wash and grate the potatoes on a coarse grater. Then wash them well under cold water.
Transfer them to another container, add a small head of onion (finely chopped), salt, black pepper, savory herb and spearmint to them. Finally add an egg, mix everything very well.
Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and using a spoon, spread some of the potato mixture, by pressing it down. Turn the patatnik over to the other side as well.
It's a good idea when turning to take a large flat plate and slide it in, then using another plate and by twisting to flip it over. This way the patatnik will not fall apart.
