How to make
Knead a soft dough from whole grain flour, Himalayan salt and water. Leave it for 10 minutes, covered with a damp cloth.
Divide into balls - the size of a handful.
Roll them out, by rolling each ball in flour, roll out about 4-6″ (10-15 cm) in diameter and sprinkle with flour again.
If desired, we can light a fire or heat a non greased pan on the stove. Bake the flatbreads by pressing them lightly with a flat spatula and turn them from one side to the other once a bubble forms and they are ready when brown spots form on both sides.
Immediately, while it is still warm, spread each one with butter or sunflower oil and put them in a container with kitchen paper or a napkin and wrap them. Do that until the flat bread balls run out. And we're done!
Roti (Indian Flat Bread) are very easy to make and even more delicious served both with something savory and sweet!
Roti are soft and crispy, neutral in taste - they go well with everything!
Wonderfully delicious!
