  • turkey minced meat - 1.8 lb (800 g)
  • rice - 1/2 cup
  • onions - 1 pc.
  • salt - 1/2 tbsp.
  • pepper mix - 1/2 tsp.
  • spelt flour - for rolling the meatballs
  • For the sauce
  • carrots - 3 pcs.
  • onions - 2 pcs.
  • bay leaf - 2 pcs.
  • paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)

How to make

The turkey minced meat is placed in a bowl, in which it will be mixed.

The rice is washed, until the water becomes clear.

The onions are cleaned, washed and finely chopped.

Add the washed rice, chopped onions, salt and pepper mix.

The minced meat for the stew is mixed very well.

Medium-sized turkey meatballs are formed.

Each meatball is rolled into spelt flour and left on a wooden board to absorb the flour.

The carrots are peeled, washed and finely chopped.

The onions are cleaned, washed and finely chopped.

The parsley is cleaned, washed and finely chopped.

The carrots and onions are placed in the pot, in which the stew will be prepared.

Pour them with the oil and then fry them, until they aquire a golden color.

Add 2 liters of hot water and when it boils, add the meatballs, bay leaf, paprika and salt.

Stir very well.

Boil the meatballs stew for 30 minutes on medium heat, after which the hob is switched off and the chopped parsley and butter are added.

The pot is left on the stove for 30 minutes.

Serve Turkey Meatballs Stew with homemade bread.
