  • water - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • onion - 1/3 onion
  • ginger - 1.2″ (3 cm) root
  • honey - 3 full tbsp.

How to make

This is a very healthy cough syrup even for smokers. It helps to clean the lungs and bronchitis, strengthens the immune system.

Put the water in a pot on the stove. Add turmeric, peeled and sliced ginger root and the peeled and sliced onion.

Boil for 10 minutes and remove it from the heat to cool.

Strain and add honey, I added 3 tbsp. Stir and pour the cough syrup into a jar with a lid and refrigerate it or leave it in a cool place.

Drink it for at least 7 days, or until you feel better.
