"Turkey kavarma with leeks for lovers of meat dishes"

  • porcini mushrooms - 0.9 lb (400 g) or field mushrooms
  • white wine - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • turkey breast - 1.8 lb (800 g)
  • peppers - 5 pcs. red, dried or pickled
  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • leek - 3 sprigs
  • onion - 1 onion
  • paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • black pepper - 1 tbsp.
  • cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt
  • thyme - 2 sprigs
  • spring onions - 1 bunch
  • oil - 3 tbsp.

How to make

Cut the vegetables into small pieces - garlic, onions, peppers, leeks. Cut the turkey breast into small pieces and fry them in butter and oil. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.

In the same fat, stew the leek, onion and garlic. You can also add the mushrooms. Cook for about five minutes. Add the chopped peppers. Season with black pepper, salt, thyme and both types of paprika.

Pour the wine, add the turkey and cook the favorite kavarma for about 25 minutes.

Serve the turkey kavarma with parsley, chives and other seasonings of your choice.
