  • apples - 8 pcs. aromatic
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g) melted
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • walnuts - 5.3 oz (150 g) or almonds
  • granulated sugar - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • lemon peel - 1/2 lemon
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp. or one packet

How to make

Let's make the most delicious apple strudel.

Start with the apples, which we will peel and clean from the seeds. After that, we will grate them and slightly squeeze out their juice, if they release any and we will add the finely chopped walnuts, sugar, lemon peel, melted butter and cinnamon.

Stir the delicious apple mixture. After we have prepared the apples, take 2 filo pastry sheets and spread the top one with oil.

Then sprinkle from the apples and evenly sprinkle 3 tablespoons on them.

Roll the filo pastry sheets like a roll and arrange the apple strudel in a greased baking pan.

Spread oil on top of the strudel and bake it in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C).
