Ingredients

  • wheat - 1 small cup (crushed wheat)
  • tomatoes - 4 pcs.
  • onion - 1 small onion
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch, without the stalks
  • spearmint - 5 stalks, fresh
  • mint - 1 fresh sprig
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp. by taste
  • olive oil - 2 - 3 tbsp.
  • himalayan salt - 1/2 tsp., by taste
  • balsamic vinegar - optional, by taste

How to make

A healthy recipe for Wheat Tabbouleh Salad without heat treatment, also suitable for vegans.

Soak the wheat in spring water for 1 night and wash it well.

Pour it into a bowl and add the finely chopped tomatoes, onion, parsley and the leaves from the fresh stalks of spearmint and mint.

Flavor it according to your taste with freshly squeezed lemon juice, finely ground Himalayan salt, balsamic vinegar (optional) and olive oil.

Mix with a salad stirrer and set it aside to flavor and cool.

Serve the vitamin tabbouleh salad in a deep plate or glass bowl, decorated with a sprig of mint or spearmint.
