Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g) canned or fresh
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • rice - 1/2 cup
  • onion - 1 onion
  • sugar - 1 cube
  • salt - by taste
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • dried basil - 1 tsp.
  • fresh parsley - 2 - 3 sprigs

How to make

The tomatoes are cleaned from the skin, they're cut into large pieces, the onion is cut and everything is blended in the blender.

Heat the oil, pour the tomato mixture, hot water, about a liter and a half and leave it to boil.

Season with a cube of sugar to kill the sour taste and add salt. Add the washed rice and cook over medium heat, until the rice is fully cooked.

Finally, the dairy soup is removed from the heat and warm milk is added, basil and if desired, finely chopped parsley.

The dairy soup with rice and aromatic herbs is ready.
