How to make
In a bowl, mix the yeast with the slightly warmed milk and the sugar. Add the melted butter to them.
To the liquid mixture, sift the flour with the salt and knead a smooth elastic dough.
Roll out the dough onto a floured surface into an oblong crust - with an oval or rectangular shape and a thickness of about 5-6 mm.
Spread with a little melted butter and add thin slices of ham on top. Spread the goat cheese, grated emmental or yellow cheese and the heavy cream here and there in piles evenly on it.
Roll it into a roll and seal the edges. Place it in a tray lined with baking paper or lightly greased. Leave it to rise, until it has doubled in volume. It is best that it is covered (without touching the dough), so that it does not form a dry crust, for this purpose it can also be lightly greased.
Spread the puffy savory roll with a beaten egg, sprinkle with coarse flaky salt and bake for 30-35 minutes at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven.
You can consume it while it is still warm, in order to enjoy a gorgeous, creamy and more aromatic filling.
